About me
Italian photographer based in London. Claudia currently completing a BA Photography at London Metropolitan University. Her work is rooted in the belief that, in an increasingly disconnected world, art can serve as a powerful means of reconnection. Claudia's creative journey began with drawing, later evolving into photography—her primary form of expression. Through both personal projects and commissioned work, she explores people, places, and emotions that are often difficult to articulate in words. Working across both digital and analogue media, Claudia uses a wide range of techniques including colour and black & white photography, Polaroids, darkroom processes, and alternative methods such as cyanotypes, gum bichromate, and salt printing. Her approach is creative and contemplative, sometimes planning each image quietly in advance while leaving room for spontaneous discovery. Claudia’s subjects range from natural landscapes and urban/street scenes to still life, always with an eye for composition, details, texture, and emotional resonance. In her projects she using various cameras—including Canon, analogue camera, Ricoh GR IIIx, and Polaroid—and often experiments with natural light, shadows, macro lenses to reveal unexpected perspectives. I sometimes use artificial lights/external flash. Driven by curiosity and storytelling, Claudia seeks to create images that not only provoke thought and emotion but also invite viewers to see the world a little differently.
